S60 Installation guide The most trouble-free way to install an application is to send it to your phone via Bluetooth and start the installation process directly on your phone. To send a file to your phone right click it in Windows explorer and choose "Send to/Bluetooth/Your phone's name". The file will appear in your Inbox and the installation will start automatically after you open it. Installer shows you a Security warning (unless you have Symbian Signed version of the application). To proceed with the installation you need to choose "Yes", and confirm, that you want to install the application. If your installation doesn't start and shows "Installation security error. Unable to install" click here. The next screen shows the possible options: choose "Install" to install immediately, "View certificate" to see the certificate or "View details" to view the name and version of the application. If you have an additional memory card, after choosing "Install" you have to choose where you want to install the application. Note: Some of the applications work better if they're installed on the phone's memory. If have any technical problems with your application installed on the memory card, uninstall it and install it again into the phone's memory. Remember that if your application is installed on a memory card it won't work after removing the memory card from your phone. Installation starts. You will find your new application in Menu. You can move it to your folder of choice by selecting "Options/Move to folder".
